This is very sad news. Bill had an in-exhaustible passion for photographic history with a parallel interest in music and gramophones. In later years, his interest redirected moreso to postcards. He was always engaging in conversation, with a sharp wit, somewhat wicked sense of humour and he was a most welcoming host when I stayed at his home in the Wellington hills. I have all his photography and postcard books, many signed. COVID denied us an opportunity to meet in recent years. Bill didn't always like having his photo taken!
