Studying women photographers from the nineteenth century

The study of women photographers continues to attract new research and the V&A's Parasol and new curatorial post is the latest example from the UK (see BPH last week). Different ways of looking at existing data are also providing new insights. This piece by Kim Biel for Lapham's Quarterly looks at new work by Library of Congress conservator, Adrienne Lundgren, which shows the strength of women in the American MidWest..
