There are 65 GWWs in the Holmes collection at MFA,Boston, out of 1434 stereoviews.
I spent 6 1/2 hrs in the galleries, viewing "Matisse in the Studio" and Botticelli among other delights...
I have a variant on the Pretty Reflections view attributed to TOBY.
This is the only genre stereoview in the Dr OW Holmes collection in MFA,Boston: "Pretty Reflections!"
Jonathan -- I'm so old, when I think of mail, I think of the "postman/person." My email is firstname.lastname@example.org. Many thanks again, Edward
I would prefer to email the list to you, if I may, Edward. So could I have your email address?
Johnathan --Yes please and many thanks -- apt. 307- 1225 Sussex Street, Montreal, Quebec, Canada, H3H 2A2.
Thanks, Edward. If you let me know your email address I can send you a copy of my collection listing too. Mine is email@example.com mailing address 286 Earl's Court Road, London SW5 9AS UK
I'm going to Boston soon -- after this lecture and opening is over -- to see the Matisse exhibit, but will examine the OW Holmes collection and get back to you on the view.
I've been in touch with Roger since 2014.Peter's listing is close at hand and very useful. My own collection of 300 plus GWW's has provided some new information.
If you'll send me your mailing address, I'd be pleased to send a complimentary copy of a leaflet to be handed out on June 22... Best, Edward.
In the Dr. O.W. Holmes collection in the BMFA , he collected his only surviving genre stereograph - later reflection of a woman
Mr Ross -- I have your article about GWW and enjoyed it very much. I'm doing an exhibition and lecture in 21 days, "The Artistic Mr Wilson." I'd like to be your "friend"
, but not sure which button to push...
