Richard Ellis photographer in Malta c1862 til 1924.... Query

Hi to the list members from Australia,I am interested in the above gent as he was a younger brother of my GG Grandfather.He was born in London and died in Malta and left a collection of thousands of glass plates which still survive today in Valetta Malta.My main query is this,,,, would he have been registered or belong to any Photographic Associations in UK whilst living in Malta ?Any hints welcomed,Regards Yvonne Marshall in Melbourne OZSee More

Richard Ellis Birthday today- 27 Jan 1842

Richard was born to James and Sarah Harriet ELLIS in their home at 2 Pounds Passage , Johns Row, City Road, ST Luke , London UK.His father James was a Shoemaker and his mother was Sarah Harriet nee Jardine of Scots and French Heugenot background.She registered him 2 Feb 1842. Richard was 1 of 13 known children of his parents- all except 1 reached adulthood , so his parents must have been good at their job ! My GGGrandfather was one of his older siblings..... they stayed in contact throughout…See More

Richard Ellis Birthday today- 27 Jan 1842

Richard was born to James and Sarah Harriet ELLIS in their home at 2 Pounds Passage , Johns Row, City Road, ST Luke , London UK.
