A copy of Antoine Claudet's will has just been sold on eBay. The will was described by the American seller as: UK 19th C probate of the will of Antoine Francois Jean Claudet dated 30th January 1868, extracted by Scadding & Son, London, 100 pounds for filling, excise stamp, fold-out seal, 3 pages plus small page, 22" x 27" on vellum, left most of estate to wife, (even liquors and looking glasses noted) complete.
