The photographer Jane Martha St. John 1801-1882, nee Hicks Beach, known for her Italian scenes now in the J Paul Getty Museum, on her doorstep at Oakley, Hampshire, England, with Julia, her husband's youngest sister; Peter, one of Jane's dogs, and just in case that wasn't enough for the exposure required in 1860, Polly her parrot has to be included too!
