Lauren Ashley-Irvine, Conservator of Photographs and Paper, at the Victoria and Albert Museum has published a blog describing how one of the fascicles from Talbot's Pencil of Nature (1844) was conserved and prepared for exhibition in the museum's new photography galleries. The publication is part of the Royal Photographic Society Collection now held at the V&A.
