symposium 2026 (1)

To celebrate the 2026 Photography Book Awards, KKF is delighted to be presenting our annual photobook symposium in partnership with the V&A Museum. The programme includes presentations by prizewinner Sasha Kurmaz, shortlisted artist Janet Delaney and Lewis Chaplin (founder of publisher Loose Joints), who designed and published Hoda Afshar’s book ‘The Fold’.

Varied in topic, geography and style, the speakers will present their books and discuss the process of developing and publishing their projects. This is a unique chance to hear directly from an international panel of award-winning and nominated photographers and publishers about the realities of making a photobook and finding an audience for their publications.

This will be followed by a panel discussion hosted by Dr Marta Weiss, Curator of Photography at the V&A.

This event is hosted in partnership with the Photography Department of the V&A South Kensington. Many thanks to the team there.
