Thanks to Lesley for getting in touch and posting this great phot. IWM online archive has this as CO (Canadian Official) 851.  Phot shows Captain Ivor Castle (right back) with a cinematographer Lieutenent Oscar Bovill and other officers observing the bombardment of German positions on the Somme.  It is also held in the hard copy archive as CO 820 and described as Canadian Official (right back) watching the battle with artillery observers Sep 1916.

Do you know who the group shown is? An official press group perhaps? The two central figures are working a cinematographic camera.
