Bad Creuznach by C.H. Jacobi

The castle of Bad Kreuznach (Germany). The structures in the foreground are what the German call "Gradierwerk". With these structures salt was produced. At the left side of this picture the blindstamp tells: C.H. Jacobi, Creutznach. Bad Kreuznach had 8 of these structures grouped in the area called Salinental.
