This one of a young woman promoting and selling Nuro Films is taken on board what could be a seaside pleasure steamer. The hand written number in the bottom left hand corner was added by the photographer’s darkroom team to identify the photograph for reorder purposes. The print is most likely to be postcard size with a divided back for postal use. These holiday souvenirs often had the photographer’s name and address on the reverse side. I would be interested to know who that seaside photographer was?
It’s likely that the photographs were taken before the cruise began and were quickly processed and printed ready to be sold when the steamer returned to port.
