Both establishments were run by Albert Elsy although the studio was part of Langfier Ltd. Emerging post WW1 artists displayed their works at the gallery and had portraits taken by Albert Elsy. Albert was a successful portrait photographer who as an active member of the RPS and IBP successfully entered and won exhibitions internationally.
