The Lost Suitcase of Walter Benjamin

This is part of a series of images based on my research into the final days of Walter Benjamin as he attempted to escape into Spain during WW2, he was carrying a case with personal items and a quantity of morphone which he used to commit suicide. All the pictures and objects are from my research into the archive in Berlin
