V.E.Night Impression - 1945

Taken on V.E.Night in 1945."Created by 'time and flash' exposure. The camera held in one hand with the shutter momentarily in the 'open' position.Small aperture (f12.5) used. Flash bulb triggered off with the other hand. Thus a sharp image has been superimposed over a 'blurred' one producing an impressionistic view which appears to have captured the mood of the moment."
