Waxed paper negative, 14-1/2 x 18-3/4 in. (368 x 476 mm), 1858-62/1858-62, unmounted. #2934.This image suggests some of the fort's activity, with ghosting of several figures and horses at its entrance. Bazaars then, as today, lined the entrance to the fort. Provenance: Dr. John Murray; Murray estate/Sotheby's London.
